MYCELION

The Hidden Forest Network

Mycelium spreads through soil and root systems in vast, silent networks — transmitting nutrients and signals between trees. Neither plant nor animal, fungi form their own kingdom: connective, adaptive, quietly alive.

In Mycelion, light enters this hidden layer. Projection mapping transforms fragile caps and stems into glowing transmitters — small nodes within a larger, breathing system. Patterns move across organic surfaces like pulses, as if the forest were briefly revealing its inner language.

Each intervention exists only briefly — a pulse of illumination within a world that usually remains unseen.

Mycelion is an ongoing series exploring projection mapping on fragile living forms only centimeters in size — shifting the focus from monumentality toward intimacy.
